Kevin Keck is the author of six books of memoir, essays, poetry, and fiction.
His writing first reached a wide audience through a series of autobiographical essays published by Nerve and later collected in Oedipus Wrecked. His memoir Are You There, God? It’s Me. Kevin. followed from Bloomsbury USA.
His other books include the poetry collections My Summer Vacation and B-Sides, the essay collection Hard Evidence, and the novel Babyhead.
Keck studied English literature at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and earned an MFA in creative writing from Syracuse University. His work has appeared in Maxim, Details, and numerous literary journals and anthologies.
He lives in Charleston, South Carolina, where he teaches writing and continues work on Notes from Dry Pond, a serialized novel sent to readers through the mail.
